The short answer: the best marketplace intelligence software depends on the question you are asking. For Amazon sales estimates and keyword data, Jungle Scout, Helium 10 and SmartScout lead. For price history, Keepa. For enterprise market share across Amazon, Walmart and Target, Stackline. For reading what buyers wrote across many marketplaces, with social comments beside it, Nooticr.
Nooticr is our product, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to say plainly where another tool is the better pick. Every claim about another vendor comes from its public documentation as of September 2026; check their sites before you buy.

1. Jungle Scout
Jungle Scout is one of the best-known Amazon research tools. Its enterprise product, Cobalt, covers 19 Amazon marketplaces with sales estimates, keyword data and share-of-voice tracking. Jungle Scout MCP connects that data to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot.
Pick it if your decisions run on Amazon sales volume. Look elsewhere if you sell beyond Amazon or need to read review text in bulk.
2. Helium 10
Helium 10 is a seller toolkit for Amazon and Walmart: product research, keyword research, listing optimization, profit analytics, inventory and advertising. Its MCP server exposes 34 tools to Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants. It needs a Diamond plan or higher and includes 1,000 MCP calls a month.
Pick it if you run an Amazon or Walmart store and want one suite for the operation. Look elsewhere if you are researching a category you do not sell in yet, on marketplaces it does not cover.
3. SmartScout
SmartScout maps Amazon's marketplace structure and estimates revenue at the brand, subcategory and seller level. You start from a market rather than a keyword. It offers an MCP connector for Claude on top of its API.
Pick it if you want to find which Amazon niches and brands are worth pursuing. Look elsewhere if the question is why buyers are unhappy, which lives in reviews.
4. Keepa
Keepa tracks Amazon price and sales-rank history across ten Amazon domains, including the US, UK, Germany, Japan and India. Its API returns price histories, offers, deals and seller data, and a hosted MCP server hands the same data to AI assistants.
Pick it if you need to know how a price moved over time. Look elsewhere if you need anything outside Amazon.
5. Stackline
Stackline is an enterprise retail intelligence platform. It unifies sales, market share and retail media data across Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retailers, and adds shopper analytics such as household penetration and loyalty.
Pick it if you are a large brand reporting share across US retail. Look elsewhere if you are a small team or researching before launch.
6. DataHawk
DataHawk builds analytics for brands selling on Amazon and Walmart: dashboards, alerts, keyword visibility tracking and competitive intelligence.
Pick it if a brand team needs recurring reporting on its own marketplace performance. Look elsewhere if you need marketplaces outside Amazon and Walmart.
7. Bright Data
Bright Data is web data infrastructure rather than an analytics product. Its Amazon MCP server returns structured product data and handles proxies and CAPTCHAs, so an agent can fetch listings without being blocked.
Pick it if you have engineers and want raw data to build your own analysis. Look elsewhere if you want the counting and the comparison done for you.
8. Nooticr
Nooticr reads listings, prices, full star histograms and review text across 11 marketplaces: Amazon, Temu, AliExpress, Mercado Libre, Flipkart, Lazada, Rakuten, Otto, Cdiscount, Jumia and Vinted. The same question can read posts and comments on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit and seven more social networks. It runs as a web app and as a hosted MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.
A category scan collects up to 50 listings and counts which complaints recur across how many brands. Every number links back to its listing. Pricing is per fetch: 3 credits per listing, 20 free credits to start, no subscription.
Pick it if you are deciding what to sell or how to position it, and the answer is in what buyers wrote. Look elsewhere if you need sales estimates, keyword rank or Walmart and Target data. Nooticr does not estimate sales, and its scans are slow: minutes for ten listings, because each is a real browser render.
How to choose
- Name the decision. "How much does this sell?" needs sales estimates. "Why do buyers return it?" needs reviews. "How did the price move?" needs history.
- List the marketplaces you actually care about. Most tools here are Amazon-first. If you sell on Mercado Libre, Flipkart or Temu, that narrows the field fast.
- Decide where the analysis happens. Some tools give you their dashboard. Others hand data to your own AI assistant over MCP.
- Check that every number can be traced. An estimate you cannot check against a listing is a guess with a nice chart.
